Review of The Skids | From the Jam | Big Country plus support
Great to see the legendary bands, The Skids, Big Country and From the Jam perform. I travelled around 140 miles from east of Scotland, well worth the journey, fantastic event.

Review of The Skids | From the Jam | Big Country plus support
Loved seeing this roll call of old survivors in a municipal hall in the west of Scotland by the sea! Atmospheric and then some.
For me, Skids stole the show. Jobson was on fire. Classic between-song banter as well.
From the Jam made the most of a timeless back catalogue. Their own material was a nice bonus.
I’ve never ‘got’ Big Country, but the crowd certainly did. They went down a storm.
Sandi Thom worked nicely as opening act - what a voice.
Friendly staff, excellent sound, perfect seat with a brilliant view of the stage. Alcoholic-free cider and eco-friendly cups into the bargain. I shall return!

Review of The Skids | From the Jam | Big Country plus support
Great wee gig. The venue, all the staff & volunteers were fantastic so welcoming. Value for money, great bar prices and food was excellent, again great value for money. Brilliant idea with the rent a plastic cup, great for eco friendly, no mess with empties on venue floor and hopefully boosted charity donations.
The bands were all great on the night. The Skids were fantastic as usual, Jobson keeping the crowd engaged with his energy and enthusiasm. Followed by a brilliant set list From The Jam. Great gig from start to finish.

Review of The Skids | From the Jam | Big Country plus support
Great wee night storming down memory lane. Skids were a bonkers blast and whilst Big Country will always be a man down the tunes were served up with great aplomb. Plaudits to Bruce and Mark far "staying alive!" Jamie, Simon and Gil - great work guys!
