Review of Boogietown 2024
Great festival really nice crowd and great performances and DJ's and even better when it was all over they kept one music stand still playing which was really lovely. Cant wait to go back!

Review of Boogietown 2024
Really enjoyed the whole experience! It was amazing seeing great acts from yesteryear. And I loved the amount of people of my era, all singing the words to songs we'd maybe not heard for a while.
My only complaint was the distance from the accessible/ disabled parking was a long way to the entrance and there was no way to avoid the queues which was not good for the friend I was caring for.

Review of Boogietown 2024
Promotor ignored email communications related to disabled status. Security ignored disaabiluty status. Disable toilet block was closed due to plumbing issues. Security bullied & denied me a FLASK HOT WATER, NEEDED ON MEDICAL GROUNDS. AND BODU BLOCKED MY RIGHT TO RETUR N TO MY BLUE BADGED CAR TO ACCESS URGENTLY REQUIRED ADDITIONAL GP PRESCRIBED MEDS NEEDED. SECURITY LEAVING ME MEDICALLY DECLINED EXPERIENCED DESTROYED. MY DISABILITY RIGHTS ABUSED AND ENDING UP IN THE MED CENTRE. ONSITE STAFF COULD NOT CONFIRMED WHERE THE DISABLED PARKING WAS. LIED TO IT WAS NEAR ENTRY POINT. FORCING PAINFUL MOBILISING NOT NEEDED TO CAUSE FURTHER MEDICAL DECLINE. THIS EVENT DOES NOT TREAT DISABLED EQUALLY AND FAIRLY. WAS PRE-INFORMED BY HEAD OFFICE IN WEYBRIDGE THERE WOULD BE NO DISABLED PLATFORM FOR VIEWING. THAT PROVED A LIE. ABSOLUTE HORROR STORY. AND DESERVING OF A FULL REFUND FOR THE PAIN & SUFFERING CAUSED BY BRUTAL SECURITY. FORCED TO TOILET QUEUE WITH THE ABLE-BODIED IN URGENCY. AND ENDING UP IN MEDICAL CENTRE MEDICALL DECLINED. ASSURED I WOULD NOT NEED A WAIVER EMAIL FOR THINGS NEEDED ON SITE. NOT PROVIDED ME. AND REASON WHY AS LONG TERM DISABLED GOT REPEATEDLY SECURITY VIOLATED.

Review of Boogietown 2024
My first time at Boogietown. The Acts were fabulous - particularly Culture Club and The Village People on the Main Stage, and Craig Charles in the Big Tent. I thought it was a great venue and we were able to get there thanks to the very efficient Shuttle Bus service (unlike SWR's dire attempt at a rail replacement bus service from Hampton Court). Loved the ferris wheel. The whole event had a fabulous atmosphere - and the cleanest toilets I have ever seen at a festival. Big thank you to the staff who kept the toilets in check and stocked with toilet roll. Impressive range of food stalls and at decent prices. The Bar staff were very friendly and it was quick to get served, but nothing on draft and a very limited selection of cans at high prices. It would be good to have a wider choice of beer and cider cans if nothing can be on tap. I think the VIP area could be smaller as there was quite an empty space from the stage to the normal ticket barrier - I'm sure the artists would like people dancing closer and filling the space. It would also be good to have a designated area for people who want to put up camping chairs. By the end of the night a lot of the space in front of the stage was blocked by abandoned chairs, stopping those who wanted to get closer and dance. But overall a great experience and we'll be back.
