Review of Boogietown 2024
I enjoyed Boogietown very much. The acts I wanted to see such as boy George, bananrama etc were great, but the atmosphere went a bit flat for incognito, The dj was OK but we heard the same song a few times and he kept muting the songs to encourage the crowd to sing which it didn't always.
Food was priced similar to other festivals £10 for a basic burger £13 ish for a pizza etc.
I liked the venue as it was spacious not too tricky to get to but getting home after Sunday finished took ages there didn't seem to be a plan until you were nearly out then everyone was being directed, but I'm not sure how they could change that with the space and roads available.
I would recommend it as a festival. No trouble that I saw, noone causing any issues, also it was nice that you could bring in a small picnic too.

Review of Boogietown 2024
Pleasantly surprised by this venue, well organised and great music. great atmosphere.
Some people complained about the queues getting in but ours moved quickly. Security seemed well organised.
The only negative was the bass and loud music from the big top tent .. it was a little bit too close and affected the sound of the artists on the main stage.

Review of Boogietown 2024
The prices were crazy and whilst the event was very good, I didn't think the quality matched the level of pricing for drinks and food. Because beer was £6.50/£7 for a can, people in their 40s, 50s and more were paying £30 instead for a cheap, warm bottle of wine and getting uncontrollably smashed, then ill before it was even 7pm! Was fun though and I would go again.

Review of Boogietown 2024
Fantastic festival, great music, great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and the toilet fairy's did an amazing job as did the litter pickers. My only negative is the bar, only one choice, a small warm can of of corona priced at £5.75, but will definitely be going back next year

Review of Boogietown 2024
Great venue, good music and value for money (we got the group ticket option). Appreciated the cubicle toilet block facilities rather than just portaloos. Only thing missing is somewhere to sit other than the floor. Straw bales would have been perfect! Perhaps something for next year Boogietown event organisers?
