Review of Imber Court Fireworks 2023
Having gone to the fireworks for as long as In can remember we were so pleased that the event has been re-established. It was disappointing there was no bonfire, afterall this is what Guy Fawkes Night is about. The fireworks were OK but not as good as usual and more importantly there was no music to accompany the fireworks. There was no music act and no waltzers only kiddy fair attractions. This was probably done so you did not attract youths who i believe spoiled the event two years ago. Our young adults were very disappointed with the event and the price should have reflected the downsizing of the event. We felt the problems caused two years ago were due to lack of supervision and people arrived without tickets who gatecrashed and had there been adequate security this would not have happened. It was good that the fireworks were on earlier but we headed home straight away as there was little to hang around for. I hope my comments were useful for bringing back a more exciting event next year

No DJ or announcement to gather people for fireworks. Few amusements of any good quality. Food eateries apart from dough shack we’re standard and poor quality food. No benches to sit down in the field. We expect more!!!

Amazing fireworks one of the best I’ve been to . Even my grandchildren aged 13,10ams 9 commented on how brilliant the fireworks were . As I’m disabled parking was easy for me as a space inside was reserved for me . Will definitely be going next year. Thank you for a great night .

Having been to this event many times, I think this is by far the worst I have attended. No bonfire, and the fairground was a pale shadow of what has been there in the past. The fireworks themselves were uninspiring.

I was shocked at this event. The advertising said great for the family, funfair and music. Literally there were a few food and drink sales cabins, a bbq, 1 baby carousel (up to 6 year old I'd say), 1 climbing wall, 1 candy floss seller , 1 kids jumping rope game and that was it. People looked visibly bored. They had to go in the club or sit on benches because nothing to do. I was really cross as just a waste of money. The fireworks were OK but no bonfire! There was music with the fireworks but I don't know what the other music was meant to be -really just a cd player. This used to be an amazing event but now it's awful. I feel it was misleading advertising and I paid £28 ish! Thank goodness I didn't arrive earlier (it was open from 4pm!) Or I would have just turned around and gone home! Shame on you - think I deserve my money back!!
