Was a beautiful setting to listen to the amazing voices of Outreach Opera and their band/pianist. The only slight negative was having to wait outside for quite a while which not ideal in the rain! But the concert was well worth the wait and thankfully the under floor heating soon warmed us up again. Will definitely look to attending their future performances.

This was just amazing. I was transported to another place and enchanted by the singers and musicians. Yes it was a bit late starting, but when it was explained they had tech problems with the sound, then quite forgiveable. To experience a concert of this calibre in intimate surroundings is priceless. The performers even took time to chat to individuals as we were leaving. A lovely thoughtful touch. They are down to earth but with heavenly talent.

Gorgeous surroundings. Not particularly well organised in the performance itself. Late starting. Two singers had beautiful voices. Enjoyable but expensive for the price.

I really enjoyed the mix of opera wonderlful voices and nice carols- however there were a few not so very well known songs sung from operas - I would I must admit enjoy far more well known arias-that would be the only thing that would put me off for another time
I just like the Familiarity - sorry!
I can get my fix then 😄

From the title we expected more Christmas' but I was pleasantly surprised by the mix of opera and carols/festive.
The acoustics in the memorial were wonderful.
We were not keen on the audience participation to be honest and wanted to hear professional in concert rather than mates trying to sing carols.
The park should have made path lighting a priority for an evening event as some paths were not lit for long stretches that we walked from the car park.
I did think the tickets were a bit pricey and the very early start time meant that some friends couldn't get there.
I will look for these event again though, maybe not at Christmas and with a later start and less expensive tickets perhaps, as we enjoyed it.
