Really enjoyed the concert , but feel I should mention that I couldn't hear the performers very well when they spoke. I was in a group of 4 ( second row from the back on the left hand side of the entrance) and 3 of us struggle whenever the soprano moved her head away from the mic ( and we couldn't hear the conductor well who didn't use a mic). I mentioned this to the person who checked my tick*ts who said she could hear well from where she was sat at the back. I raised the issue in the interval as it was frustrating and I hoped it might be remedied in the second half as it seemed a straightforward problem to solve but the second half was as tricky as the first. Wished had sought out the sound engineer instead. The singing was absolutely amazing though; we were delighte and would definitely go to another OO concert. Thanks!

Music was superb. Setting beautiful but a bit cold. No mince pies or mulled wine! Tick*t didn't make clear that it didn't start until 7pm. Didn't actually start until well after 7pm and we thought it started at 6.30pm. A great evening (despite no refreshments) and we'd definitely come again :)

A great evening of pre-Christmas, festive entertainment. The Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park is a great venue ... once you've walked to it, mostly up hill (but obviously downhill when leaving!)

A wonderful evening! The music from the brass band and the pianist were fabulous and the singing was absolutely beautiful. The whole event was a festive treat and was so beautiful, being held in such a stunning venue. I will certainly follow Outreach Opera and will hopefully attend further events held by them.

Unexpectedly high quality of music- I have listened to less accomplished singers and musicians in some far more prestigious venues. Very good value for money.
It was a personal and passionate performance that was matched with professionalism and superior technical ability.
Would definitely recommend and I will be booking for next year.

A beautiful setting, fantastic music, extremely talented singers and musicians.
Only slightly negative comment - it was billed as 6.30pm-9 but apparently it was 6.30 for a 7.00pm start. Perhaps that could have been made clearer. Otherwise an amazing evening. 🎄⭐

Was a beautiful setting to listen to the amazing voices of Outreach Opera and their band/pianist. The only slight negative was having to wait outside for quite a while which not ideal in the rain! But the concert was well worth the wait and thankfully the under floor heating soon warmed us up again. Will definitely look to attending their future performances.
