Fell Foot Wood is a magical place and we like to build on that sense of mystery and enchantment. The sense of mystery conveyed in the above picture and slogan is present especially at night-time around the wooded grotto stage that is clad with beech branches. However, the wood is not a mature beechwood as shown above and rather than being dark and oppressive it is more youthful and vibrant in appearance with good views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding mountains
