Need more info re the schedule of bands etc on the website as not everyone has time to scroll through Facebook or Instagram. There are a few Facebook posts of people asking what was on at what time as it wasn't clear in advance.
Also - beer tokens / glasses:
1 token should be for half a pint not a full pint. So £20.00 for 8 tokens as opposed to 4.
This allows people to sample different beers by taking half pint samples over a broader range of beers.
The beer glasses should be included in the entrance fee - £5.00 for a glass was a rip off.
There was no beer menu explaining the different styles / tastes of the beers - again this could be given at the entrance with the glass included in the entrance fee.
You could get businesses to sponsor the beer menu pages etc etc.
More info on the website regarding prices would have been better - I wont be paying £5.00 for a plastic glass after also paying to enter etc etc.........
£9.95 for a G&T in the bar was a rip off.
2 tokens for a c**ktail was also a rip off - although you did get a free glass!
Food was good and pricing acceptable.
I'm not sure but I don't think there was any info on the website until closer to the event regarding dogs. I couldn't see anything when I booked my tick*ts but closer to the event it stated not suitable for dogs.
We didn't bring our dog but heard that people with dogs were asked to leave at a certain time. 19.30 I think??
Again this should be better explained on the website if you are going to do this.
It would have left a sour taste had we brought our dog.
From my experience - overpriced, lack of info, will think twice before going back.
Music was good though.

Saturday night music was disappointing, didn't like political songs when I was out for fun!!! Toilet provision was very poor - 2 x portaloo at other side of the muddy field! And only 2 staff working at the Lanty Slees bar, big queues, there should have been more staff on! Tick*ts were expensive for what was on offer. Good atmosphere though.

Oktoberfest was a fantastic experience. Very well organised, with some amazing bands and singers which catered for all audiences, combined with a huge selection of Lake District ales from local breweries. I hope it will be in the diary for next year.

Review of Octoberfest
Having arrived Thursday early afternoon it felt like they were still setting up the event with no real plan where they were putting campers. The field was very wet with peoples campers already been stuck on the field. We had to be towed to our spot to camp. We set camp and went to find the event field. This was set up really well with a main stage and a bar stage. They had a desk where you bought tokens to exchange for beer. £6.00 for 1 or £20.00 for 4. 1 token for 1 pint no options on 1/2 pints. We enjoyed the beer and music through the day then ventured into the main building to use the toilets and we were surprised to find another stage upstairs which had no sign to say it was there. A good weekend was had walking the hills and drinking beer. A few things which would make it better would be more toilets on the camping field, 4 just wasn't enough, maybe some maps of local walks and the big one for us would be better choice on the beer front. A lot of beer between 3.5% and 4% lots of bitters, blonds and pales. It was sold as a beer and music festival. The music was first class but I'd of liked to see more variety on the beer. All in all for the first event it was a good event and we look forward to next year.

Review of Octoberfest
There was a good selection of music for all tastes with a friendly and welcoming vibe.
The location was stunning - the Langdale valley is beautiful, the autumnal colours adding to it. Lanty Slee is a great place though perhaps didn't expect the numbers as the toilets gave up at times.
The pricing of the event was great value for the weekend.
