Review of Indie Anthems V Dance Anthems Silent Disco
AMAZING night! DJ's were great. Atmosphere was buzzing. The bar could have been run better as there was too much on offer and no clear system for being served but otherwise, great night. Thank you :)

The Ashton Hall Lancaster Town Hall venue information
In the Ashton Hall in Lancaster Town Hall, built only 5 years before the start of “the War to end all wars†on Saturday 14th April , Lancaster and District Choral Society’s Concert will commemorate the Centenary of the ending of the First World War.
Sir Karl Jenkins' -The Armed Man- A Mass for Peace, a powerful portrayal of the causes and consequences of war, forms the centrepiece of a moving and rousing programme, which includes selected war poetry and the reading of a letter from a Lancaster soldier serving in WW1.
, With a March Past and Presentation of Standards by representatives of the local British Legion, John Perrin conducts Lancaster’s largest choir and a full orchestra led by Julian Cann.
Talented local young singer, Rebecca Chandler- a student at Kirkby Lonsdale's Queen Elizabeth School and a member of Amabile Girls’ Choir, sings Soprano solo.
Other music includes Crown Imperial by William Walton, Hymn to the Fallen by John Williams (Saving Private Ryan) and For the Fallen by Douglas Guest- a setting of the most famous verse by Lancaster Poet, Lawrence Binyon recited at every Remembrance Day Service worldwide since 1921.
