Fizzy Milk is proud to present Carbonated Carnage Vol. 2: Underwater Extravaganza
Carbonated Carnage returns bigger and better for round 2. We're back in everyone's favourite basement under The Sun Inn, Ulverston. Once again you'll once again be surrounded by bone-rattling bass, immersive decor, lasers, and an even bigger lineup of music provided by some of the finest talent from the local area and beyond.
This time round, we're going to take you under the sea, with aquatic decor surrounding the basement, immersing you in another world where you can dance the night away.
North West Steppas Soundsystem is returning to provide one of the finest rigs Ulverston has seen. You can be assured that there'll be plentiful bass to get the place bouncing all night long.
Line Up
Live Bands -7.30pm till 9.30pm
Fizzy Milk - Your hosts return. A four-piece experimental punk powerhouse with a taste of grimy punk juxtaposed by a smattering of jazz. Delicately walking the line between light-hearted comedic lyrics and complex instrumentals their underground presence has accrued a cult following in the local scene. "Once you get a taste for Fizzy Milk everything else seems bland and boring." - The Devil Makes the Best Tuna
Moody Brew - We're buzzing to extend our night's live section with none other than Moody Brew! The 4 Piece punk, jazz, shoegaze band hailing from Barrow is relatively new to the scene, but they've made a hefty dent since their debut earlier this year bagging slots at Another Fine Fest and on the main stage at Coast Roads Festival.
DJs - 9.30pm till close
North West Steppas - Along with providing their Soundsystem NWS will be kicking off the DJ sets with a wide selection of reggae, dub and steppas. Off the back of hosting 2 iterations of their 'Party Int Hills' festivals over summer, hosting nights at the Pocket in Keswick and warming up for the likes of Iration Steppas among others at 'Dub n Grub' they are no stranger to getting a room bouncing.
Evie Lola - resident DJ for Dance Culture UK and Beat Guruz Sound, has been ripping up the local scene for a while now. Evie Lola has previously played all across the North West, with festival sets at Solfest, Cumbria VAG, and warming up for Charlie T at Oktoberfest. You can be sure Evie will provide an incredible set, taking you on a journey through breaks, jungle, DnB, and speed bass.
Ocenvelo - Owner, and builder of Schuteon Audio Soundsystem, Ocenvelo is certainly no stranger to bass. Hosting nights with his Soundsystem in Ulverston, Kendal, Manchester, and beyond, along with sets across the North West in between, You can be assured this set will be one to remember. Ocenvelo will be spinning a vinyl 140 set for you guys. Don't be missing it.
Tencs - As co-founder of Monument Hifi, he's no stranger to a party. Having played sets all over the northwest from Ulverston to Liverpool and many places in between he knows how to create a vibe. Whether is it's hip hop or drum and bass from liquid soul to jump up Tencs is gonna get you moving.
Angell - Heading up from Bristol once again to close out the night with a set that can only be described as multi genre madness. As a lover of all things bass you can expect blends of techno, 140, DnB, and jungle with the odd curve-ball thrown in for good measure. We can assure you that you'll be giving it large till close.
