Review of Williamson Park
I absolutely love this festival! I went for the first time in 2021 and loved it so much went back for 2022 and will definitely be going for many years to come. The atmosphere is just great, the views over to the Lakes are stunning and Ashton memorial looked great all lit up. The drinks aren’t the cheapest, but to be fair they’re no different to any other festival price. I’d recommend this festival to everyone. There’s so many different artists and music vibes that there really is something for everyone. Also, the food is incredible. From what I could tell they were mainly local food places which is nice to see and everything was delicious!

Review of The Big Family Day Out
The expensive drinks and food spoiled the day... Queues everywhere, and a haphazard intercom / announcer from beyond radio didn't keep you informed as to the sub events that were going on.....

Review of The Big Family Day Out
It was a grear relaxing day for the family to sit abs chill, would like to see more little activities for the kids to get involved in as it was so busy we struggled to get to do everything as the crowds where gathering and seems to be no rule in lining up. Our friend waiting in line for almost 45 minutes to get their face painted and end up giving up . Most food stations that where kids friendly had also ran out of food by 1pm. More kids friendly music on the main stage would be good

Review of The Big Family Day Out
Queues for food and ice cream were far too long across all of the stalls. The Facebook page advertised a circus skills 4-4.30 at the sundial but it was closed before 3.50pm. It seemed like there was much less on offer than last year across the day. Mad science shouldn’t have been on the main stage. Children couldn’t get close enough to engage with it. Would have been better on the memorial stage.
The face painting queue was over an hour. Could have had more facepainters as children love it.
Stagecoach were great. Lottery winners were good entertainment once they got going. The drummers were fantastic. The firefighters were brilliant showing off the fire engine.
Unfortunately there was too much standing around and waiting for a family day out. Based on this year I wouldn’t recommend and won’t buy tickets next year.

Review of The Big Family Day Out
It was very very busy. There was an awful smell from the previous days of festival - which put you off being at the main stage. Queues were horrendous for everything - especially face painting and cafe.
I love this event and try to support it each year as I am local - just didn’t feel it this year which is a real shame

Review of The Big Family Day Out
The venue was set up as a music venue and the family day felt shoe-horned into the space. The smell was unbearable and my friends son who is autistic couldn't cope mainly because of the rancid stink near the main stage. The activities were mainly aimed at much younger children and not a lot for older ones. What was available fept cramped into small spaces without elevated stages so the kids couldn't see much. The queues for things like face painting were about 20 minutes, not great.
There was no signage on the entrances or instructions as to which entrance of the park was allowed which meant we walked to three separate entrances before being allowed in at the correct entrance. Not an easy feat with children in tow.
There was also a page on the website mentioned information about car parking would be released soon and nothing was updated on the website and a direct enquiry through Facebook was ignored.
Needless to say we won't be coming again.
