Headline:
Noval.sol are a 6-piece alternative jazz band based in Leeds. The band are inspired by the UK contemporary jazz scene. With influences from fusion, electronic, dance-music to straight-ahead they want to translate this range to demonstrate a unique sound and approach to improvisation. Their influences include the likes of Alfa Mist, Soil and Pimp, JSPHYNX, Jamie Leeming, and corto.alto. The band combine improvisation and up-tempo grooves to create high energy on stage. As well as selling out their debut headline show at Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds, they have played in cities across the UK, supporting artists such as Steam Down and Ife Ogunjobi (Ezra Collective), TC and The Groove Family, as well as playing festivals such as We Out Here and Leeds Jazz Festival.
The lineup includes Ernie Moore (trumpet), Asher Freeman (saxophone), Luke Hannay (guitar), Poppy Green (bass), Isaac Keech (piano) and Billy Goulding (drums).

Daisy Drew is a leeds-based jazz vocalist, who takes inspiration from the likes of Cécile Mclorin-Salvant, Jazzmeia Horn, Carmen MCrae and Sarah Vaughan in her scat solos. She will be accompanied by Jacob Booth on piano, Iris Casling on bass & Scarlett Baxter on drums to help bring classic jazz standards to life.
