Who needs Oasis when you have disco? 

And the disco is back in Leeds as Downtown Disco returns on Saturday November 16 at HiFi Club in Leeds for a night of disco beats and treats. 

The lineup features two headliners - Defected and Glitterbox star Melvo Baptiste and our globe-trotting international resident Michael Gray. Plus, we have DD founder Ian Ossia and super-resident Lisa Jane on the lineup. 

The lineup: Melvo Baptiste is one of the biggest names in disco right now. He’s one of the main reasons Glitterbox has taken over the world, as he oversees the label and events that criss-cross the globe. His incredible knowledge of music spans soul, rare groove, funk, disco, and house. Then again, as his uncle is Norman Jay MBE, you’d expect nothing less! Ahead of his headline slot in Leeds, the in-demand DJ, producer, podcaster and more is playing Ibiza, ADE, Defected Malta and Drumsheds London, an incredible series of gigs for a truly incredible DJ. 

What more can we say about our superstar resident DJ Michael Gray? His album party earlier this summer for Downtown Disco truly blew the roof off, and he’s gone on to play across Ibiza and UK festivals this summer. The Full Intention star is the musical heartbeat of Downtown Disco and our dedicated fans, and we can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us this November! 

And no lineup is complete without the residents, the DJs who kick-off and end the night - they’re the DJs who fill the dancefloor and then keep it packed until the last orders at 3 am. And we have none finer than Leeds legend Ian Ossia and our very own disco queen Lisa Jane. From Ian’s incredible disco edits to Lisa’s incredible presence behind the decks, they know how to get the Downtown Disco faithful ready for a disco sermon!
