Review of James Hype: Get Closer Tour @ Home Leeds
Big James Hype fan and was looking forward to this for ages. Unfortunately, the whole event start was delayed by almost 1 hour. The audio equipment went down at the start meaning James' set had to be restarted. The venue was overbooked and you couldn't move... everyone was pushing, bumping in to each other, dancing etc. Then out of complete no where we were removed from the venue for "pushing a photographer" (we definitely didn't) we are both in an our 30s and not silly children pushing people about. Not sure why the photographer decided to get in the middle of the busiest section behind the DJ anyway. He completely overreacted and ruined our night. So we missed the last 30mins of James' set. I'd love a full refund to be honest as the service and experience here was probably one of the worst I've had at this type of thing.
