About

Coal Mob Presents... Carneiro's Disco!

Liverpool's finest The Sukis make their Leeds debut, their first gig this side of the Pennines, in one of the cities best venues, Hyde Park Book Club. Supporting them are Leeds staples Coal Mob and Welfare State, and London's Room Service, also making their Leeds debut. A night of great music and entertainment, not to be missed!

The Sukis

Liverpool based ‘The Sukis’ are fast making a name for themselves as one of the most exciting alternative rock bands on the scene today. Punky, intelligent and incredibly exciting, with songs that dive deep into the psyche of what it is to be young, 'The Sukis' catchy, melodic and original material, has seen them sell out shows across the Northwest and drive their debut single Becca to over 15 million streams. Releasing their first music during lockdown in 2020 with nascent
influences ranging from quintessential British indie-rock to horizon scanning Americana, the band have developed a classic and distinct sound that explodes from their latest EP ‘A Sense of Doubt’, released Summer 2023, with nods to The Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Tame Impala and David Bowie.

Coal Mob

Coal Mob is a five-piece post-punk/Dance punk outfit becoming a prominent act within the Leeds music scene playing in such venues as the Brudenell and Hyde Park Book Club. For three years now, they have been cleverly combining post-punk principles with unique genre mixing and a heavier edge, inspired by the likes of Shame and New Order. After releasing their first single “Bounce,” which received great reception being played on BBC introducing West Yorkshire and Sheffield, Coal Mob have gone from strength to strength, releasing their second single “Ceiling” to much acclaim. Dedicated to building a loyal fan base and delivering an electrifying show every time.
