Review of Carl Cox presents Awesome Soundwave Live
okay so I love Carl Cox; hence why I bought tickets to attend BUT...1) only a couple of the previous DJs played some half decent music 2) Carl did not come on stage until 3am!! The music throughout the night felt flat, almost as if you were forever waiting for the big drops which never came. Attended with 3 other friends who also thought the same. It was so bad we only listened to two songs from Mr Cox and he flunked his first track ð ð¤¦ââï¸ we all decided from henceforth we would only listen to premix programs or just avoid altogether in future. What a waste of money and night! Avoid, unless you have money to literally throw away!! Venue was selling water for around £4 ðð¤¦ââï¸ profit over welfare obvs and it's not even London!

Review of Carl Cox presents Awesome Soundwave Live
Felt hard done by when the headline act shows up for the last hour of the show. Absolutely love Carl and was really looking forward to seeing him. I completely understand the need for support acts, but when they support the main act and not do the whole show for them. £40 per ticket on early bird was a bit much also, especially when I saw that students were entitled to 3 tickets for £75.
All in all poor show.

Coxy was awesome! But the venue was ridiculously over priced, £6.80 for a can of san miguel. Then you’re expected to leave your drinks unattended while going out to the smoking area. Very rude staff. Will not return to venue!
