Review of Empire + Northern System / Morning Session.
Empire, for such a young age these local lads rocked the place- destined for so much more. From the moment they entered the stage they kept the audience entertained with classics from their debut album “God Save The Empire” they gave everything and more. Dylan, Charlie, Alex, Bailey and Noah you rocked !!

Review of Empire + Northern System / Morning Session.
Amazing gig.. Empire were awesome. I've seen them many times and they've added more tracks to their repertoire which is now a blend of indie/rock. Definitely an arctic monkeys feel, but other influences in there too. Their set list was carefully balanced with some softer tracks which means there was something for everyone. They're a local band and definitely one to keep an eye on! Very impressed. Great sound as always at Oporto. Jo on sound does a great job every time.

Review of Hobson - Album Launch + Caleb Murray / Ramona Alice
This album has been a long time coming, and all the years of hard work, honing skills, and well, just life, really show. The music is sophisticated and each track is distinct and good in its own right. Incredible vocals too - at times, I was feeling Alanis 'Jagged Little Pill' vibes. Buy the album and get to see this band - you're sure to have a great night!
Oporto is a Leeds institution, and so I can't think of anywhere better that Hobson could've held their album launch.

Intimate little venue, great sound quality. Hobson were fantastic as were their supporting acts, especially the Caleb Murray Band, fantastic energy.
Bar prices as steep as anywhere in town so, to be expected.

Great venue, live music section could be bigger, but great atmosphere and crowd, headline act Avelles really brought the crowd in, for such a young band they have a loyal following, their music is original and a great future

Review of The Rosadocs - Leeds
Love the Rosadocs and they are an amazing band that we have seen a few times now. This was a great gig for atmosphere but such a small venue. Bar staff were lovely and friendly but it was just too many people crammed into too small a room, no chance of getting to the bar for a drink!
But ultimately I'm glad we saw them at a small venue because next time will be Sheffield City Hall!
