Review of Leeds\' Comedy Cabaret 8:00pm Show
This comedy show was not for us. We didn't laugh even once and the seating was just folding chairs crammed very close together. The compere swore almost every other word and his while thing was to pick on one guy and just insult him. The first act was more swearing and I'm afraid to say was not funny to us. To be fair, others were laughing so maybe it was just us, but I'm sorry to say from our perspective we were extremely disappointed and left during the interval.

Good comedians do not F and Blind in every other. Sentence. The F word is not a laugh - it is just an additive in today’s language. The last act was the best of the three

Review of Christmas Comedy @ Leeds Comedy Cabaret
Food was cold and there wasn't enough of it, more like a school dinner. Badly organised venue, toilets a disgrace. Bar was poorly stocked and drinks from chiller warm. Only 2 comedians plus compere, I think they were laughing at us paying 53 quid a head!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the comedy and the club, but found the drinks and food poor. The wine was undrinkable, and the prosecco greatly overpriced. The comedians were great.

Comedians good but venue not equipped for. Poor poor selection of drinks advertised c**ktails staff not a clue how to do and one was really rude a lady. The lad working behind the bar was good but embarrassed
Also advertised as 3 comedians but was 2 and a compare , it was fine as good all round but just note could be better advertised

Review of Christmas Comedy @ Leeds Comedy Cabaret
Bit of a disappointing evening. We were given instructions that we had to be inside the club by 6.00pm, but when we arrived we had to queue up outside for quite a while as they weren’t ready for us to enter. Once we got in, we were seated and directed to the bar for drinks. There were around 30 people waiting at the bar with only one person serving. More staff arrived after 10 minutes and then I got served, over £45 for a bottle of average Prosecco and 2 bottles of cider….. seemed expensive to me.
The meal was surprisingly very nice. We weren’t expecting much to be honest but we all really enjoyed the food. We felt sorry for the waiting staff, as they just didn’t seem to know what they were doing, but we all enjoyed it anyway.
On to the comedy, this was the main reason we came, but was a real let down. The compère just wasn’t funny and just seemed to swear at guests and refer to how fat he was all the time. We could barely tell what he was saying as the PA system didn’t seem up to much. Onto the first comedian, a beat boxing fella who looked like he had been pulled from a bus shelter and again was hard to hear down to the PA system. He seemed to connect with one group in the room, but kind of ignored the rest of the room. At one point he tried to call a man onto the stage who did t want to go, along came a torrent of telling him he was and looked like a Cu*t !! Should have just moved along, made the room feel uncomfortable.
We then had a break before the compère returned, a bit more unwitty swearing banter and then introducing the second act.
He was better than the first but below average I’d say. One large group in the room actually left.
After this guy, we were hoping for a good finish with the third comedian being the best saved til last, but alas, the compère must have been the third comedian…….
All in all we had a pleasant time, the food was better than we were expecting, the staff pleasant enough, but not really knowing what they were doing, we felt ripped off at the bar and we didn’t really class the acts as comedians at all.
The comedy was very disappointing.
There are so much better comedy acts around, I wouldn’t return here without knowing who the acts weee in advance.

Review of Christmas Comedy @ Leeds Comedy Cabaret
Disapointed. The Geordie comedian was really hard to understand as he was really close to the mic. He pointed out one of his stories about the worse gigs he had done wasn't funny and didn't have a punch line, we were unsure why he was telling us.
The RnB/dance music from the night club could be heard whilst the second comedian was on which was really ditracting.

Review of Leeds\' Comedy Cabaret 8:00pm Show
The event was ruined by people in the crowd talking. They were eventually kicked out but it ruined the atmosphere and put off the comedians.
The seats were very uncomfortable and we were all squashed together which also ruined the atmosphere. Prefered the event when it was adjacent to Tiger Tiger.
