The Cockpit venue information
The Cockpit is the premier independent live music venue in Leeds and has gained its legendary status through providing the best in alternative music since 1994. Formerly the Cock of the North pub, situated on Swinegate in Leeds, close to Leeds station the venue hosts small to medium sized touring artists as well as occasional showcases for local acts. The venue's main room can hold 500, whilst the second room can hold 250, and the small upstairs room can hold 125. The club has a number of regular clubnights:
