Review of Carpe Noctum XXV
Venue: There's bats in the belfry, the windows are jammed, the toilet's ain't healthy but they do give a damn.
Bands: Superb sound, great performances, and always amazing choices.
Clubnight: The lights they move sideways and up and down, the beat takes you over and spins you 'round, our hearts steady beating, our sweat turns to cold, we're slaves to the DJs and out of control.

Review of THIS FEELING - Leeds
Visited here on Saturday 14/09/24 to see all bands, in particular Acetate. The bands were all great however the sound was not good at all, you could not here the words the artists were singing all you could hear were the instruments. Which was quite a disappointment. Again fab bands but poor sound quality for such a good venue.

Review of Carpe Noctum: The Sisters of Murphy
The low score on 'prices' reflects the venue's policy of putting up bar prices on a Saturday to profit from the legendary 'Otley Run' pub crawl, not the ticket price which is very good.

Review of Carpe Noctum: The Sisters of Murphy
Great gig The Sisters of Murphy really do an amazing show and sound fantastic.
The sound guy gets it bang on every time and the same with the lights. Great venue too always enjoy returning to Carpe Noctum.
If you haven't been before you are really losing out don't take my word for it just try it for yourself.

Review of Carpe Noctum: The Sisters of Murphy
I've seen the Sisters of Murphy many times and there's a reason I keep going back. Basically, if you want to hear songs by the Sisters of Mercy as they were back in the day, the Smurphs are a more authentic representation than the Sisters.
I've also been to Carpe Noctum many times and it's the best regular goth night out in the country. A fantastic mix of live bands followed by a great club night.
Carpe itself is very good value for money. My mark down, above, is for the drinks prices, which are outside their control. £6.25 for a pint, in Leeds, is steep.
