Incredible music, wonderful people, beautiful space. Gorgeous atmosphere with just enough to dance. This was a perfect night.

Review of 0800 DISCO: Diamond Disco w/ GAB RECORDS// DMAN & FRIENDS

0800 disco did an AMAZING job with this event. I've never posted a review of an event before but it really deserves one. All the staff at the Tetley were so friendly and kind, all the security were caring, approachable and made it a safe space without feeling like security were overbearing in any way. The music was something for everyone techno, disco and dance floor classics were the recipe for a night for everyone. The Tetley is my favourite gallery and the building honestly felt transformed, I saw it in a whole new light and I loved the whole vibe of the place. Everything felt DIY in the best way so it felt like a house party which I think encouraged a really friendly and safe vibe in comparison to other club atmospheres. Also I'd like to point out the attention to detail with looking after all attendees including those with disabilities. There were many things put in place to make it an accessible event. My housemate who is queer and was in drag was asked which bathroom he would prefer to go into. Which is amazing because usually he feels unsafe in drag in mens toilets and the bouncer was very accommodating to this. 

Thank you SO much to 0800 disco and all the organisers. This was honestly one of the best nights I've been to in Leeds in the 5 years I've lived here. I'm praying you guys become permanent residents at the Tetley as I'd love to see it as a club again xxxxxxxx

Review of 0800 Disco presents Halloween @ The Tetley 

The venue was good,  the music had no variation between the rooms just a constant booming sound,  and after waiting 40mins at the bar we decided to go home.

It’s got potential, but there was only one bar and it was too busy and there was a 15 minute queue for the toilet which just isn’t on.

lots of potential but there was short staffed on one bar and only two toilets so the queues for both were horrendous so we had to leave early in the end which was a shame

The event organiser didn’t hire toilets for the venue and left 4 toilets to 500-600 people. And there weren’t enough staff to manage the amount of people on the bars. Also in our current climate around spiking at nightclub they hardly searched our bags or bodies. I didn’t feel safe. Which was unfortunate because the music was sooo good all the DJs were beautiful.

Queues for toilets and drinks were ridiculous 


The event was amazing! The music was wicked and the venue is cool, it was a bit slow getting drinks which was annoying at times but at least we got to go out and have a good time, sticking to the new guidelines. Everyone I was with and everyone I spoke to there really enjoyed it. Definitely up for going to the next one when it happens.

Review of DOUBLE BUBBLE

Top night! Music was superb and the event organisers went above and beyond to make sure everyone  was having a good time.
 It was a full house and as drinks were table service only, they were on the slow side but apart from that had a great time! 

Had a great time! Music was great - I know drinks were a while to reach you at times, but under the circumstances it has to be expected. Looking forward to the next one 💃🏼
