Review of Leicester Food Festival
Great day out, would of been nice if the stalls did sample sizes of certain dishes so you don't have to have a whole dish but me and my friends shared so wasn't too bad we got to try lots of tasty food and was a great day out
Would definitely go again

Good price but depends what you want from it. Abbey Park is a good venue but it was not very well signposted & we walked around the park before finding it! If you want to sit in the park, listen to music and be able to buy food and drinks from different outlets , then it's a reasonable day out. It was right next to a noisy funfair and geared up for families and kids. It certainly wasn't anything sophisticated! It isn't really a food festival like the ones we are used to- we were expecting vendors with different cheeses, drinks, breads, pork pies etc for you to try and buy and take home. The few vendors that were there didn't seem very organised with their pricing- some had no pricing up & they didn't have any "but 3 for £12" type offers as they usually do at food fairs. It's something different to try out over the summer but manage your expectations!

Was a great day out - but food prices were very high and not as many options for vegetarians - but overall a good day out and the good weather added to the enjoyment and music was great

It was better than I expected. Brilliant for families too. Very chilled. Loads of variety of food and drinks. Loved all the entertainment on stage and Ultimate Coldplay were absolutely brilliant. Definitely go again.

Parking was tricky, but once we were in, it was a nice environment. Food lines were VERY long and there wasnt a lot of vegetarian options available apart from a jacket potato. Would advice to advertise kids activities before hand so people can plan there arrival time better too.
