Review of Anstey Nomads annual Firework display

Just make sure you get someone who knows how to cook next time, frozen burgers and sausages need improving, but all in all the money went into the club so I can’t complain, pizzas were amazing but meat needs work lol

There was not enough space where the food and rides area was and there were far too many people crammed in. The organisation was awful and the food vendors were unprepared for volumes of people meaning waiting up to 40 minutes for a simple hot dog. 
The PA system wasn’t great and couldn’t hear the MC very well. Signage to direct people on the the pitch was non existent and everyone was climbing over the barriers which just isn’t safe. 
There should have been more toilet facilities and they could have been placed somewhere with a bit more light. Fumbling around in the dark with a toddler in a portaloo isn’t great. 
The fireworks were great which is the main reason we went so can’t complain too much. Just wish the gap in between wasn’t so spaced out. 

Gates opened at 6pm however they didn't start the kids display till 7:30pm and my child had fallen asleep and missed it. It should have been done at 6:30pm..... 7pm at the latest!!!! He would of seen it then. As far as the firework go for the kids, I think they could of done a lot better. 

Music and dj couldn't be heard well at all.
Food and drink prices very high.
Long wait for fireworks and then they were extremely short which was disappointing.

The adult display was lovely. We haven’t been to an organised display for the last 7 years so it was great to  be there. We felt safe and it was great
to see so many people there enjoying themselves.

I didn't attend as the event organizer would not confirm the timings of the actual firework displays even though multiple people asked on several online platforms. We didn't want to stand around 6pm until 10pm with young children in the cold weather with no idea of the timeline of events. 

I didn't go my older children took my little boy. They said it was good and my little boy enjoyed it.
