This Halloween 2015, The Haunting are bringing to you a Ghost Hunt Event like NO other and have created a Paranormal Experience that you will never forget.

HM Prison Ashwell in Rutland, Leicestershire is the setting for this special Halloween Event. Ashwell Prison was constructed on the site of a WW2 USA Army base ( home to part of the 82nd Airborne Division ) and first opened in 1955 as an opening prison for adult male prisoners.In October 1987 it was converted into an Adult Male Category C Establishment. In 2011 there was a big blow that hit Ashwell Prison when the inmates rioted out of control and took over the main lock up section of the prison ( which has now been knocked down ) which led to trained Guards and Police taking over 6 hours to secure the prison and ship out all inmates one by one. Now Ashwell Prison stands abandoned with the very silent eerie feel to it as you step deeper inside the prison walls. Surrounded by high security gates and fences Ashwell Prison is still very much a daunting place with 160 dark empty cells and boasts 4 large prison wings and the old Prison Administration Offices ( which in fact is part of an original WW2 building ). Within its time as a prison there has been 14 reported deaths. Paranormal Activity and strange goings on have been reported by several individuals and groups, such as - feeling like being pulled into dark empty cells by unknown entities, shadows appear from nowhere then disappear, water has been heard dripping / flowing from a building where there is no water source at all with no signs of wet surfaces, some have even claimed to have been scratched by something unknown while sitting alone in a dark empty cell, the feeling of sea sickness within G - Wing, voices have been heard within the grounds, but no-one was there upon inspection and doors have been witnessed flying open however no-one had touched nor been near the door when it opened.



This Halloween 2015 will see the Prison come to life one more time as The Haunting bring you The Prisoner Cell Block Haunting Experience!



We ask that all attendee's get into the 'spirit' of things, becoming fully involved with all the activities from the start, right to the end of this event.

Everything is REAL, nothing is faked or rigged in terms of Paranormal or Spiritual Activity which may occur during the course of the night.

There will be a hot fee for you at Midnight which will be 'Stovies' ( corn beef hash ) and there will be tea, coffee and biscuits available on breaks. ( hot feed and refreshments are all included in the ticket costs )



This will be The Biggest Singapore Theory Experiment!

The Singapore Theory explained briefly -

"Playing a specific song, sound or vocals from different periods of time and or even re-enacting certain / specific happenings or activities that went on within the vicinity of a place during its time.

When this is done, this can ( within a bit of hope ) raise the vibrations and heighten chances of activity levels from the 'residual energies' ( Ghosts ) being much stronger to even an 'intelligent' source of activity ( Spirit ) being brought forward closer to the physical world within the certain area or building.

Thus ( hopefully ) creating different types of activity, giving raw evidence of Ghosts and Spirits that we search for."

As always like everything else within Paranormal Investigation, no-one can guarantee any levels of activity and The Singapore Theory is merely an experiment, but it can make itself into a very interesting and fun exercise done accordingly.



The Haunting Team will be THE GUARDS and you the guests will be THE PRISONERS!

You will be locked away, sent down and sentenced for 9 hours within this dark, eerie Prison with only your fears and the spirits to accompany you!!

From the moment you arrive, the experience begins!

You will be treated like prisoners from the time periods of the 1950's to the 2000's.

You will be greeted by 'Armed Guards' before being handcuffed altogether and escorted into the depths of the Prison for your detailed briefing of the nights activities. At this point of briefing there will be a Spiritual Opening before we enter through the locked gates of the Prison wings.

You will be given a Prisoner Number and also a Cell Number in which we will be pairing Prisoners off in 2's per cell. ( please note that we will mix everyone up for this exercise ).

You will be given Paranormal Tasks throughout the night to conduct, some together and some ALONE!!

We will be splitting down into different teams during the nights experience and investigation to conduct a series of experiments such as - The Ouija Board, Table Tilting, Seances, Echovox Sessions, Ghost Box Sessions, The Smoke Experiment, The Spirit Vortex Experiment, Energy Circles, Lone Vigils and much more... You will have Guards ( The Haunting Team ) with you on each team to lead the way and conduct experimentation with you.

The only thing about this experience is that you will NOT know what is going to happen next or what you may have to do next!!

There may also be a few fearful TWISTS throughout your experience as you investigate!

The only time you and The Haunting Team will not be in Guard and Prisoner mode will be on break times and at the end of the event - all other times we will do our best to make sure we all stay in character for the full Singapore Theory experience to take place!!

At the end of the event we will close down correctly with a Spiritual Closing and have a brief talk of your experiences!

Who will you fear the most? The Guards or The Restless Spirits that reside within the walls and grounds of the Prison?

Please note that we do have a first aider on our team and we do take concerning / emergency situations seriously, treating them accordingly / appropriately.

Please also note, like all of our events you must be over 18 to attend and under NO circumstances are you allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs upon arrival and there is NO alcohol or drugs to be carried into any of our events!
