M&S and Fearon Community Association are calling on local people to roll up their sleeves and Spark Something Good in a week of volunteering that will positively impact 24 projects at the heart of the community in Leicestershire. On Tuesday 11 October, we are calling on volunteers to help us develop and create a welcoming community garden at Fearon Community Association. We aim to achieve this by landscaping the area, creating raised beds for easier access and installing a sensory garden, catering for everyone who visits the centre. As part of our concept of ‘People and Plants: Let’s grow together’ – we’d hugely appreciate your support in making this happen. Leicester and Loughborough have been selected as two of the first locations in the East Midlands to host M&S' Spark Something Good – an initiative that will take place across 24 cities in the UK and Ireland which will see 24 projects benefit in each location.
