Children's Centres (formally SureStart) offer pre-school age children and their families a range of services that are tailored to the needs of different localities but meet the government's targets to improve the lives for pre-school children and their families. There is a network of centres across Leicestershire offering information, advice and support to parents/carers, as well as access to early learning and childcare services, health services, family/parenting support and employment advice. At least one centre in each area will provide the full range of services. This centre will be supported by a network of other services around the area.
