Francesca is a musician, music producer, DJ, event organiser, as well as a lecturer in music and music technology. She works with Education & Bass, along with other initiatives, to provide practical insights and mentorship to aspiring artists.
Session Overview: This session explores strategies for long-term growth, including networking, developing multiple revenue streams, and balancing creativity with the business aspects of the industry. It also covers breaking into the scene as an independent artist, finding support networks, and positioning yourself to get noticed without major backing, while addressing the challenges of avoiding (and managing) burnout.
