Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night
Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Grainstore Brewery, Oakham on Thursday November 28th for another night full of laughter.
Topping the bill is Alun Cochrane who has appeared on numerous TV shows including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard's Good News, Mock The Week and Coronation Street; as well as featuring on several BBC Radio shows, including co-hosting The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio. With his unique gift for storytelling, he entices the crowd before dropping an inimitable punchline, leaving them in tears of laughter.
Opening the night will be Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2018 and finalist in British Comedian of the Year 2022, the cheeky Jack Gleadow, hailing from Hull and claiming to have illegitimate Chuckle Brothers heritage, he is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today.
Also appearing is multi-award winning 'Kiwi' Sully O'Sullivan. He won his first national award less than 12 months after his first attempt at stand-up and has been acknowledged as a highlight of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival by The NZ Herald and a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival by The Scotsman. Enthusiastically self-assured, his sharp ire and amusing playfulness draws the audience into his world, where they are happy to stay.
Compere for the night will be Jon Pearson, whose laid-back storytelling has everyone hanging on his every word; his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.
