Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another line-up of top comedians to the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Wednesday August 7th.

Topping the bill is Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2018 and finalist in British Comedian of the Year 2022, the cheeky Jack Gleadow, hailing from Hull and claiming to have illegitimate Chuckle Brothers heritage, he is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today.

Opening the night will be the likeable and sheepishly mischievous Danny McLoughlin, with his quick wit and clever material he’s always one step ahead of his audience members. Eternally happy to take a gamble, the jokes never fail to bring a response of laughter and applause.

Also appearing is Scottish comedian, writer and actor Alan Francis. His intelligent and entertaining material challenges his audiences thoughts while at the same time keeps them amused. Having performed stand-up around the world he is a naturally funny man.

Compere for the night will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
