Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Wycliffe Rooms, Lutterworth on Saturday February 15th for a night full of laughter, as part of The Leicester Comedy Festival.

Topping the bill is Presenter, Broadcaster, Writer, Actor and Comedian Ian Stone. An International comedian, including performing for the troops, he has made numerous TV and Radio appearances including 'Mock The Week', 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' and 'Saturday Live'. He wrote for 'The Omid Djalili show' on BBC1, 'The Sketch Show' on ITV and 'Alistair McGowan's Big Impression' on BBC 1. Audiences can't get enough of his edgy and challenging approach, which is supported by a relaxed and excusatory manner.

Opening the night will be the animated Sean Heydon, one of the country's premier comedy magicians, who has appeared on various TV shows, including Britain's Got Talent where he got a unanimous 4 yesses from the judges and Channel 4's Paul O'Grady Show, as the resident illusionist. With his unique style, he captivates the crowds, often receiving standing ovations.

Also appearing is David Eagle, winner of Nottingham Comedy Festival New Comedian Of The Year and member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Young'uns, with his various side-splitting-stories about being blind.

Compere for the night will be Roger Monkhouse, one of the most experienced acts in the business. His deadpan style and quick wit make him one of the best acts out there, and he is a regular fixture at top venues all over the country, as well as performing extensively throughout the rest of the world.
