The Cardinals Hat

The Cardinal's Hat, named after Cardinal Wolsey, Bishop of Lincoln, in 1514, offers a slice of history of Lincoln's busy High Street. The pub prides itself on rare products including nche beers from around the world and flavours that you won't find elsewhere in the city. The site has been dated to 1255 though even Roman remains have been found. After being named after the Bishop in the 16th century, the Grade II listed building has since been a fishmonger's and a grocery store. The great history of the building has been kept with the style of the pub, promising a unique evening out in Lincoln.
