A wonderful day of mass harmony singing workshops, all taught by ear and led by inspiring community singing leaders. This event is open to anyone who enjoys singing in a relaxed, fun and friendly environment.

Doors open at 10.00am for refreshments. Workshop 10.30am – 3.30pm.

Singing Showcase 4.00pm – 5.30pm. Attend with your vocal group or choir and sign up to be part of the Singing Showcase.

Audience welcome from 4.00pm.

The Inspiring Community Singing Leaders:

ZEPH CHURCHILL:

Zeph Churchill is a Choir Director, Comedian and Nurse Lecturer. She is an alumnus of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and runs the 125 strong Spalding Community choir; witnessing improved physical and emotional well-being and sense of community in her members through singing and laughter. Zeph is a leader who challenges singers to achieve more than they thought possible, and who is known for her wild hair and love of biscuits! In 2019, Zeph was awarded a BBC Radio Lincolnshire Song for Lincolnshire Award.

LIZ MCINTOSH:

With a lifelong passion for singing and working in communities, Liz McIntosh leads a number of acapella community choirs across Lincolnshire as well as delivering singing workshops across the Country. Liz leads fun and engaging singing workshops in a wide range of styles and genres. She is a strong believer that singing is for everyone and is passionate about enabling singers of all abilities to develop and grow in an informal and supportive environment

CHRISTINA CLARK:

Rock Choir was established in 2005 by award-winning musician, Caroline Redman Lusher and is the pioneering contemporary choir of the UK and remains unique with over 33,000 members participating in approximately 400 local communities. Christina looks after the Lincoln and Scunthorpe Rock Choir, she has been with the team for over 16 years. Her passion and enthusiasm shines through in every choir session she delivers. She loves her time in choir just as much as her members do – if not more! Christina has an innate ability to unite people, drawing them out of themselves, building their confidence and encouraging them to really fulfil their potential.
