The story of the life of "JOHN H STRACEY MBE" Undisputed Welterweight Champion of the World. The oldest living English World Champion & still the only Brit to win a title in Mexico.

This is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of becoming the WBC World Champion on 6th December 1975. A rags to riches story portraying the iconic rise of this British boxing legend, from the clutches of the Kray twins to boxing in Las Vegas on the Muhammad Ali bill, sharing Elvis Presley's dressing room & mingling with all the stars , becoming Undefeated Welterweight British & European Champion & then winning the ultimate prize.

Having lived here on Merseyside for 36 years John H will also be here in person.
