All roads lead to legendary Liverpool underground venue Le Bateau, you could have said 90’s venue but it had an even longer history in the city’s nightlife than that.

Scott McGill along with a couple of the residents was also a regular at iconic Detroit and UK Techno scene setter Voodoo at the venue. One of the leaders of the city’s techno scene in the early 00’s he started TFunkshun that hosted many a parties that brought so many great icons of the scene to the city. He has warmed up the room for get likes of Theo Parrish, Derrick May, DJ Bone, Andrew Weatherall, Terrance Parker, Dan Bell, Daniel Wang, Claude Young to name a few.

Essa Shields was a regular with one of the rezzies in late 90’s and 00’s club Uptight/Liquidation also at the said venue. Also played great selections there plus many other events across the city and years since then including Sound, Liverpool Psychedelic Society, Newington Temple.

We can’t wait to hear what sonic delights they dig out for us so get down early to hear those non peaktime gems.
