Review of Pretenders | Intimate Album Launch Show
Great to see The Pretenders in an intimate venue. Christie Hynde still got it. Worth the journey across Lancashire. Easy parking, a good venue and atmosphere. People there for the music which isn’t always the case. Would travel again if something appealed.

Review of Pretenders | Intimate Album Launch Show
Don’t go to Liverpool gigs on Sunday evenings if you’re travelling by train. I arrived at the Jacaranda (who sold the tickets and CD bundles) to discover that ‘Content’ is a completely different venue, mike’s away. Realising that I would miss the last train home if I attended the gig, for reasons of personal safety, took the next train home. The last train home from Liverpool Central leaves at 22:15 - making any Sunday gig in Liverpool impossible.
