Out of this World #2

The 2nd installment in the 'Out of this World' series, a night that combines genre-blending bands from around the north-west. Following on from the huge success of the first gig, this event comes back to you louder and bolder than before, featuring the Manchester-based Punk-jazz-fusion band 'Ask My Bull', Local retired-surgeons and nuclear safety engineers, Sweet Beans, and Prog-rock-fusion band Tavananna. 

Sweet Beans are a riot-jazz band that formed in Liverpool in 2019, who have headlined Derry jazz festival for several years, Liverpool international Jazz festival and supported international rock band ASIWYFA. They come packed with riotous-horns, thrashing guitars and thumping kick drum guaranteed to get the feet tapping and the necks snapping. 

Tavananna made their debut performance at the first 'Out of this World' event; they are a progressive rock band, inspired by both Turkish and classical western rock music that took the audience by storm with their face-melting guitar solos and furious drum grooves, not to be missed.

Ask my Bull is a musical chimera that combines the visceral energy of punk, the danceability of drum'n'bass and the intriguing nuance of jazz: Ask My Bull is delightfully hyperactive and cinematically epic.
