Da Beats - Rooftop Concert

Hailing from the musical heartland of Liverpool, Da Beats are an alternative Beatles tribute band with a twist. Unlike traditional tribute acts, Da Beats embrace an individualistic approach, crafting a distinctly personal sound that sets them apart. Rather than donning retro looks or replicating songs note-for-note, each member of Da Beats infuses their own musical style and passion into every performance, driven by their profound love for The Beatles' music. 

Da Beats pay homage to The Beatles' timeless hits spanning their entire catalogue. Their unique three-piece lineup—featuring Mick on drums and vocals, Michael on guitar and vocals, and Matt on bass and vocals—allows them to explore creative ways to reinterpret some of The Beatles' most iconic songs. This approach shines through in their renditions of complex tracks like "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Eleanor Rigby," where they craft inventive arrangements to replace the need for orchestration and larger ensembles. 

Their innovative take on Beatles classics is beginning to earn them acclaim across the UK, highlighted by two sold-out shows at the Sefton Park Palm House. Their growing reputation has also led to a feature on BBC Radio Merseyside, bringing their sound to a wider audience. As Da Beats continue to captivate audiences with their fresh interpretations, they are gearing up for their first European tour, promising to bring their electrifying performances to new international fans. Before they embark on this exciting journey, Da Beats will play a special free event at the Sefton Park bandstand on June 30th, 2024, at 2 PM. This performance is set to build anticipation for their rooftop show.
