One of the best gigs I've been to in a long time. The Olllam are mind-blowingly good > Having already earned the dubious accolade of having released "my favourite album of last year", on the back of this performance they are now fast becoming one of my favourite bands. Ever. Contemporary Celtic music set to complex, elusive, often baffling rhythms with a heavy sprinkling of jazz, soul and humour - they are utterly joyous and totally intoxicating.

Brilliant gig! It was exactly what I was expecting in terms of music, vibe and energy. Fantastic sound system. Bit of a cold venue and noise travelling from the back of the room and upstairs is a bit annoying but other than that all good

About

Known for their trailblazing blend of traditional Irish instruments with long, cyclical melodies, fusing jazz, and psych-post-rock, the olllam continues to push musical boundaries. This show features Scotland’s whistle ace Ross Ainslie up front with Irish piper John McSherry, alongside Vulfpeck’s bass supremo Joe Dart, Detroit drummer Michael Shimmin, keyboard player Joe Hettinga, and Limerick guitarist Seán O’Meara.
