Absolutely fantastic night. The only let down were the state of ladies' toilets (not sure what men's were like).

Hard Dock Reunion 2

As a hard dock old timer me an me m8 went down to say goodbye to the place 1 last time as it is due to get made into a new apartments/offices in January.
Back in the day they played hardcore in there tonight it was house and I was suprised how good it was.
The dj box was back where it belonged in the middle and the place was rocking seb Fontaine played a good good set then the bingo players came on at 3 and didn't disappoint.
So all in all a good night the drinks were a bit pricey but other than that a good send off for the old place.
Just a bit sad to see the place close for good as it could easy be a great club once again for a monthly thing.

I went to the first 1 what I thought was good but the music was a bit before my time but to go back to the dock was the main thing. This event 2nd dock reunion was right up my street had some of the best djs that played there from back then.
Spinner started the night off too fast if you ask me and some of the classic dock tunes got missed out dansatak,warpath and the slower 94 stuff so had it banging from the start.
Then came dj mad c to carry on where spinner had left off not a start that he would of liked but had to carry the pace of the music on and played a sweet set that could of been played all them years ago when he played new year 1 of the 2 times he had played before.
Reflex nxt for half an hour then brisk what I was surprised with how good his set was. 
Nxt the best set of the night I thought dj demand who played some classics nxt up was vibes and livelee who got the crowd going with there happy hardcore way that they had done in the past in the dock.
Stu Allen the master was nxt on the weels of steel who didn't disappoint who had played some of the best sets I ever heard in the dock.
Reflex was left to close the night with a few more classics till it was all over.
I had my tickets to go to the nxt event in the hard dock what I got told was not happening now and it is very sad to say the least as it was the last night ever in the hard dock as it has been staged for a redevelopment program for offices and work places.
Everyone could only hope that the owner could find it in them to let 1 last event to happen in one of liverpools oldest and best venues there has ever been?

 jackie mccullock martin....went to the hard dock saturday night oh my god what a night it was one of the best nights ever and ive had a few there it was great loved every minute of it cant beleive how many face i new great night

What a night,just like the old days,couldnt believe how many people i rememberd from 15 yrs ago.Always said love to do it one more time,did it saturday. WOW !! ...wil die a happy man.RESPECT TO THE RAVER!
