Review of Hurlston Hall Bonfire Night Party
Brilliant night had by all last night.
Every year this event is better and better. The kids loved it, plenty of food stalls and choice, a lovely clean marquees, dj , fire breathers and fire works.
The staff work so hard to pull of this event each year. massive well done for last night we has a great night.

Tremendous night, great food, great staff and a fabulous atmosphere with a brilliant firework display. Couldn’t speak more highly of not just this event, but the venue in general. Thoroughly recommended.

Music was really too loud by the bonfire.
Places I was worried we may trip so defo add some more lighting in those areas.
Ace venue/ fireworks and facilities. Would defo go again.

Floodlights left on during fireworks. Fireworks not as good as free displays I have been to in the past. No staff around to ask questions. All in all very disappointing

Made to park our vehicles on really muddy fields where it was hard to drive across them. Not much in the form of anything being put on the floor for people to walk across the muddy field. Very minimal food stalls and the hot drinks from the built up marquee were disgusting . Very minimal places to sit and eat and the fireworks did not last very long at all to the point we’re half the crowds were all saying is that it ! The atmosphere was very flat

Venue great, not too crowded, food from vendors was nice aswell. The music itself was good but far too loud for little ones the closer you got to where the dj was based which was by the fire show and bonfire so we had to stay away from there. I was expecting the actual firework display to last longer, we got there for when it opened at 5, had something to eat and hung around to see the fireworks which started just after 7 and lasted about 15 minutes. The prices weren't extortionate but I wouldn't bother paying to go again.

Review of Halloween Monster Ball
A Halloween monster Ball with no Halloween themed music?? Music was played from a big speaker, sound wasn’t the best. None of the Halloween classics played such as GhostBusters, Thriller, trap door, monster mash.
The adult food was lovely and a few choices. Kids food there was a few choices too, and they enjoyed it. Only 2 people serving the buffet style food though so service was very slow. Also only 1 person behind the 2 bar areas, so getting a drink took a l very long time at it was so busy.
There was a lot of people / children at this event and I personally felt it was very cramped, the room was not big enough to cater for the number of people.
For the price of the event, you would expect better service, not having to wait up to 30 minutes to get a drink. Also entertainment could have been better, for example , a DJ, Halloween themed music and games.
