Review of The Sun Ra Arkestra + Bop Kaballa +++ @ Invisible Wind Factory
This was one of the best shows I've seen in years! Sadly, I got there a bit late and missed the opener--nonetheless I'm extremely glad that I was able to see The Arkestra. Their musicianship and energy were superlative, and they obviously love what they do. I was awestruck by the wide variety of music that they played and by the fact that Marshall Allen is still going strong at 99 years of age! I had no idea--from watching him, I thought he was maybe 75 at most. I'm a sax player myself, and this concert will serve as an inspiration for my own music for years to come.

Review of The Sun Ra Arkestra + Bop Kaballa +++ @ Invisible Wind Factory
My first time at the venue. I was very pleasantly surprised by the outdoor bar and stage prior to the main event, and by the interior area and stage set=up.
The Sun Ra Arkestra was blazing! Perfect venue for a show like this - intimate, but great sound. Rare to get an evening this good for under £30. Will definitely be attending more events at the Invisible Wind Factory in the future.
