Review of Michael Aldag - Matinee Show
The show was magnificent but was let down by the stifling heat and lack of air in the venue. Two of our party sadly had to leave after only a couple of songs as they started to feel quite unwell with the heat. Such a shame really.
Michael Aldag put on an amazing performance, look forward to seeing more of this talented young man.

Review of Michael Aldag - Matinee Show
Although the show was advertised to start at 15:30, meaning that many of us were there from 14:45 or earlier, it wasn't until 16:00 that the support artist (who we didn't know was going to be there but was incredible) got on stage. I wish that someone at the venue had explained what was going on as we were all a little confused and very hot (the venue was stifling) but honestly once Michael came out we all forgot our tired feet and had an amazing time. The band were brilliant and the sound quality was really good, although sometimes it was a little hard to hear the lyrics over the backing. After the show Michael came out and spoke to everyone and took photos - he genuinely took his time with everyone and had long conversations rather than rushed meetings, which was so appreciated by all of us. I would very happily go and see Michael perform again and I'm sure the others who attended would too.

Review of Polarity
Kazimier is our favourite bar in Liverpool and Polarity was a great night, small room but decent sound. A lot of people in the crowd seemed to have something to do with the DJs but they were all very friendly so we had a good chat. If we hadn't found this gig on Skiddle though we wouldn't have known it was happening as there was no promotion whatsoever in the bar (we weren't even sure we were in the right Kazimier to begin with). We were a bit older than the other people there (seems to be very few people over 25 out at the moment in general) but we kept up with the dancing - could have happily carried on past 12. All the DJs were good and added their own little flavours. Nice to see the DJs take turns to mix in the close out section.
