Alabaster made nice music with an accomplished group of musicians. His band was great. However, his outbursts of spoken word were of little quality and ruined the lovely music. It seemed as if Alabaster had scurried far too far down the rabbit hole of his affected onstage persona, which was like a confused version of Mork (Mindy) if Mork had learnt his English from children who had been espousing the self-help affirmations found on their parent's instagram doom scroll.
