Review of Laughter Locker at the Everyman!

I wish Laughter Locker would come back because it was an excellent comedy night. Wide variety of acts and reasonably priced.Ã°ÂŸÂ˜Â

First timer to the laughter locker. Great night, well organised and smoothly ran whilst being relaxed and friendly. Highlight of the night was Gemma Roberts- bloody hilarious. Will look out for her in the future!

Really Enjoyed Sean Morley's performance, quite surreal and very funny opening, never seen anything quite like it. His interaction with the crowd was brilliant, quite intense and almost uncomfortably direct at times (I was secretly dreading being picked out), but always very funny and hilariously dark and self deprecating. He explained he has an anxiety disorder and he likes to turn this on its head and play on the audiences anxiety, which works very well, but he is also very effective at dissarming the audience and bringing them back along for the ride. Couldn't fault anything he did, he has a very unique and very funny slant on life and I would love to see more of his material in the future. Would reccomend him for anyone looking for something new. Will remember the line 'it was only soup' for a long time to come lol.

Review of Edinburgh Preview Night! Top Joe & Sean Morley

Sean was very funny although some of the sketches were over egged. Sean was entertaining and different, engaging the audience well. Top Joe wasn't Top Joe, he was the same guy doing a new act, this didn't go down well. The audience looked in despair as Chris ( Top Joe) and his friend proceeded to do cringe worthy sketches throughout. It was a real disappointment as I had expected this to be the better act. 

The Everyman was such a good venue for Mass! The sound quality was great and the space was just right size wise so that the show felt cosy and intimate even though there were quite a few people there. Hilarious as usual!

Review of Top Joe\'s Mass: Liverpool Comedy Festival Special!

A unique performer with a show that I would highly recommend to anyone, especially those with a liking for the slightly offbeat. Stacks of warmth and love created by this  hilarious, deadpan individual.  A superb show from start to finish. Even without the roast potatoes. 

A treat for any  alternative comedy fan!
