Review of Parrjazz presents ED KAINYEK @MaBoyles
I have no idea if the act was good or not because, after pre-booking for the event through Skiddle, we couldn’t attend to see them, as the room was already full. This is a ridiculous system of booking an event and my 60th birthday was almost ruined for me and my family and friends as we then had to find another venue with live music that could accommodate 20 people walking in off the street! I am totally disgusted and will never use Skiddle again and would not recommend anyone else to use it!!
Review of Parrjazz presents The DEAN MASSER duo
Dean Masser is one of the best Bebop Saxophone Players in the UK.
There is no doubt about that and his amazing full sound playing a 10 M Saxophone leaves a listener spellbound during his playing of the Jazz standards.
Forgetting where you are for a moment you could easily be back in the days of Dexter Gordon playing live .
Yes Dean is really that good.
Deserves to be on a bigger stage with his talent.

Review of Parrjazz presents Dave McGarry and John McCormick @MaBoyles
I was surprised at how bright it was in there. I think the ambiance would have been a bit better had it been a little darker. The musicians were clearly very skillful but I felt some of the song selections sounded really similar. would still definitely recommend it though
