Review of Katie Nicholas EP Launch with Strings @ Nordic Church Liverpool
An amazing evening - so much talent, so much good communication with the audience, all in a lovely and unusual setting - so brilliant: the circular shape of the building and lovey blue paintwork against the white was a really attractive and intimate place to listen to music.

Review of Katie Nicholas EP Launch with Strings @ Nordic Church Liverpool
The music on the night was stunning. As was the performance area. Perfect for intimate acoustic style music.
Avoid the coffee and cake as although the prices are displayed as £1.50 & £2.50 respectively, the total came to £5.
This is totally down to the venue and nothing to do with the performers, or the music.

Review of Katie Nicholas EP Launch with Strings @ Nordic Church Liverpool
A thoroughly enjoyable evening of great music in a beautiful setting. This was my first concert experience at this venue the naturally good acoustics enhanced the sound of the ensemble backing Katie Nicholas on her songs. I thought it was a super idea to have two sets with a brief intermission. I’d highly recommend you seeing Katie perform she writes clever relatable insightful songs and is a very accomplished guitarist. The addition of a string section served the songs excellently. The wonderful Anna Corcoran on keyboard and exemplary harmony vocals also shone on a solo composition of her own..This was simply a fabulous gig to experience I’m still buzzing about it the next morning as I am sure the artist and supporting musicians will rightfully be. We were lucky to be there! Well done to all involved 👏👏👏👏👏

Review of Katie Nicholas EP Launch with Strings @ Nordic Church Liverpool
A delightful evening of true talent. Katie’s voice is so pure and sweet, accompanied perfectly by Anna Corcoran on keyboards and vocals and by a gorgeous string quartet, the music was soul stirring! Katie’s new songs are really beautiful. Nice opening set by A Guy Called Greg. The Nordic Church is a unique venue, warm and welcoming with a nice little cafe.

Katie is a very talented writer and her music is so expressive . The addition of the strings, piano and harmonies made it even more special as did the setting.
A very memorable night. Brought a tear to my eye.
