Review of Sefton Park
Catfish and the Bottlemen - the band were good but my experience was let down by a sub-par venue.
Scandalous food prices (£15 for a burger and chips), insufficient infrastructure leading to enormous queues for food, drink, merchandise, toilets etc, it was difficult to see (granted there may be little they can do), the sound quality was sub-par, the speakers further out were turned off seemingly meaning anyone further back couldn't hear properly.
Needs major improvement in my opinion with better infrastructure and sound mixing

Review of Sefton Park Social pres. Liverpool Disco Festival In The Park
Absolutely shocking! If I were the promoter of this event I would be beyond embarrassed by myself.
Tickets sold for "festival IN the park, no admission allowed after 4pm. Reality was, it was within the car park of a cricket club, an email sent out at 4pm ( after everyone has entered) informing of the actual location. - NOBODY WOULD BUY TICKETS FOR ANY EVENT HELD IN A CARPARK LETS BE HONEST!!
Quality food vendors consisted of 3x chafing dishes of curry covered with foil under a pop up gazebo roof for the princely sum of £7.
In addition, 5 portable loos and 1 bar with a 45 min queue!!!
ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS who skiddle should refuse any future association with for the sake of their own reputation. This isn't the first scam event ive purchased via skiddle. As a matter of principle, I wont be back again sorry Skiddle.
Maybe if you future decide to offer buyer protection from conmen such as these....... for now, ill shop elsewhere.

Review of Sefton Park Social pres. Liverpool Disco Festival In The Park
Thought this event info was very misleading as it advertised it being held at sefton park , which you assume grass , big tents etc , but it was held in a small carpark at the cricket club , very dissappointed , received updated event info at 4pm on day of event saying it was at the cricket club , bit late in the day as it took us ages trying to find it . A very poor effort

Review of Sefton Park Social pres. Liverpool Disco Festival In The Park
Absolutely awful. £25 for a ticket supposedly a 'disco festival' with no disco songs being played. Overpriced drinks and about 45 minute wait in the queue. Genuinely the worst 'event' I've ever been too

Review of Oktoberfest Liverpool Sefton park Sunday - Family Day
Described as a family fun day but nothing for toddlers to do. The rides only catered for teenagers. it was nice they had mascots but small children are scared of them so still not for everyone. Not enough food and drink stalls. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with children under 10. I think even the older ones would get bored. Wont be returning next year

Review of Oktoberfest Liverpool Sefton park Sunday - Family Day
We went to the family day with a 6 week old baby so unfortunately couldn’t get there when it started. When we arrived my 10 year old wanted to go on a de however there was no pay else waiting to go on the ride so she had to wait, we waited that long I asked for a refund and we would come back when we seen a Que. when we eventually went back outside they where closing for the adult session she was devastated,
There was no baby change facilities??
A man was standing in the tent by the bar smoking & spitting on the floor! I just stairred at him? Which didn’t faze him one bit. Without me telling him children where about and we have just came through a pandemic!!! No regard what so ever for others.
The characters well we waited in line to be told the 2 people in front that’s it now we have to go.
All in all a Terrible day.

Review of Oktoberfest Liverpool Sefton park Sunday - Family Day
The event timings were incorrect. We arrived at 11am to be told the event didn't start until 12 and would run until 5pm. Nothing was ready at 11am. Hit food wasn't ready to be sold until about 12.30 and we were then told to leave just after 4 because they had to set up for the next session. It came across quite disorganised overall and disappointing the timings were advertised and executed incorrectly on the day

Review of Oktoberfest Liverpool Sefton park Sunday - Family Day
The event was awful!
It was described as a family event however there was nothing there for family. We went as two families and the kids were very upset as there was nothing there. We go to a lot of events in Sefton Park that are free and are always brilliant! I felt like we had been robbed!
