Review of Eurovision: Disco Bingo!
The actual disco bingo was brilliant .. real good laugh, but I wouldn’t ever attend another event in sT Luke’s…. 6.50 for a gin is fine, but to then fill it to the top with ice so hardly any drink is scandalous, when I asked to take some ice out I was told well we can’t fill your cup any more with Lemonade 🙈🥲 …. Really ?? Wow ….. so you want to charge me 6.50 for half a cup of drink 👿 to top it off I was then getting talked about amongst the bar staff ….. and I know i weren’t the only one who wasn’t happy as I over heard a few ppl having the same conversation over it

Review of Wedding Open Day
We were so excited for this event - I booked our tickets as soon as they became available.
However, we were so disappointed!
We expected (from the videos promoting the event on social media) to be multiple vendors to chat with, but there was one DJ/Band, one Photographer and one Venue Dressing Company.
We are from Liverpool and love the look of the Bombed Out Church, but the grounds seemed untidy and not looked after. The grass was not cut, there were w**ds everywhere, there was even a random backpack shoved into a corner outside where the "Ceremony" was dressed. We wanted to appreciate how beautiful things would look, but we were distracted by how untidy it was.
Also, the venue should state that the Ceremony with the Roof is subject to availability. We were told our date could be for open air ceremony only and we could not provide our own cover due to other events booked around the same time. Although we understood, nowhere in the brochure or materials did it state "This option is subject to availability".

Review of Liverpool String Quartet: May Day Celebration
A joyous celebration of the first Bank Holiday in May. The Liverpool String Quartet advised that we would be listening to music celebrating Spring and Summer from around the world. We had music from Vivaldi, Mozart Piazzola, Puccini and a finale from The Beatles with Here Cones The Sun, which was played just as the sun broke through the clouds.
I would highly recommend both the venue and Liverpool String Quartet and will be actively following both.

Review of Turncoat Gin Tasting Experience
We go to lots of tasting events.
This one was label led and for £10 for 2 G&T was value for money. But not if a standard of other gin tasting experiences or other spirt led marketing events we have attended.
Very dull, the presentation had no flair and was boring, no mention of the new shop no opportunities it’s to try c**ktails no push for merchandise .
The venue was unrealistically cold, no heaters or blankets provided. The music was poor until the live act who were very good came on as we left .
Turncoat you are a flagship Liverpool company . We came to support you as a local business. We are your customers and demographic . You can do better than this. The event was poorly thought out and uncomfortable . Not a great advert for your lovely product at all.
Sorry to say we will give your events a miss in the future .

Review of Turncoat Gin Tasting Experience
It was a nice event and a good evening. The gin was lovely and all the information that went with the tasters was great. Prices was a little steep, atmosphere was very dull and quiet but overall, a good evening.

Review of Bombed Out Church Beer Festival 2023
Not helped by being a colder evening than expected but…..admission price is too expensive, £2 for a printed programme on top is expensive food choice was limited (and expensive) and toilet facilities too few.

Review of Bombed Out Church Beer Festival 2023
Goodnight had by all . Tickets a little over the top . Definitely need more toilets for an event like this, but all in all good selection of beers and the volunteers were great and knowledgeable about the ales. The food available was narrow for such an event and even run out of certain items early on.
Would I go again? Dependant on the ticket price.
