Brilliant venue with great acoustics. Loved the backdrop of the backlit stained glass window. Great to have a venue near Lark Lane too. Kathryn Williams set was wonderful, giving goose pimples from her beautifully crafted songs.

Kathryn Williams is a favourite of mine. I’ve seen her many times. Combining her poignant, beautiful lyrics and outstanding vocals with the majestic but somehow intimate setting of St Michael’s was perfect!

Lovely evening in a delightful setting. A ‘home town’ show for Kathryn, performing songs from throughout her career.
A charming, witty stage presence, interacting with the enthusiastic audience (and bringing her sister up for harmony vocals on a couple of numbers), Kathryn knows how to connect.
And that’s what this evening, hosted by the humble but amazingly talented Steve Pilgrim, was al about - connection.
Breathy, fluttering vocals, harmonium, piano, backed by guitar and occasionally clarinet were provide d by support act Loris and the Lion.
