‘’In dedication to the legends that were...’’ The 27 Club is a colloquial theoretical term given to a group of artists who left legacy’s that defined and created genres, and influenced the world of music as we know it. Greats such as Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, Brian Jones and Robert Johnson all are known not only for their incredible talents but for all being tied into this eerie tragic paradox, of losing their lives untimely at the age of 27 So, the secret is out. 40 Victoria Street has now been changed into what will be the home of a new creative hub in the heart of a city famed for its musical heritage, encompassing rehearsal rooms (residential and pay-by-the-hour), a recording studio, an outside catering kitchen, a members only bar, miniature music shop (strings, plecs, local band merch, collectables etc) and in the not so distance future there are plans to install a radio station, tattoo studio and equipment repair centre, and more. And most importantly, the venue and main bar itself, which plays host to live artists and DJs 7 days a week and a late night license on weekends. Both bars providing a host of craft ales, wines, popular beers, themed cocktails, drinks offers and more, all at really competitive prices.
